Publisher Description
IN THE SPAN OF 10 YEARS, Jack Abramoff rose from near obscurity to become America’s
most powerful lobbyist. Congressmen lined up to do his bidding, executives heeded his advice, and heads of government hung on his every word. But when scandal brought him down—ultimately casting him into disgrace and even prison—this power broker said nothing. Now a free man, Capitol Punishment is Jack Abramoff’s autobiographical exposé uncovering the mysterious and corrupt world of federal politics. He reveals just
how broken the system really is while shedding light on the drastic corrective
measures needed to repair it. Jack’s back, and this time he isn’t pleading the Fifth.
Customer Reviews
One of my favorite books...
Jack doesn't make excuses for what he did. He tells it how it is, and how deeply sorry he is. But, he wasn't the only issue for D.C. He talks about all the corruption that is there and how to fix it. A must read for anyone who wants to know how to fix Washington, from one of the most hated lobbyists.
Awesome

A NEED FOR CHANGE
Great book
I enjoy and agree with change in term limits
this book has made a change for me on who I vote for in the next election for president Nov.2012
Not only do I have a problem about Washington but even in my home town of Jefferson city mo. people who in control as an elected official seem to not understand the hardship of the American tax payer in business and always push for changes that benefit them
may the good lord bless and support Jack and his family he has paid for his mistakes
