Meet Cappy West — a friendly capybara with a brass compass, a sage-green bandana, and absolutely no sense of direction. He never sets out to learn anything. The learning just keeps finding him.

In Book 3 of Cappy West: The Global Explorer, Cappy steps off the train in Cairo and gets everything delightfully wrong. He waits politely for three cats to decide whether he may pass. He wanders into a workshop and learns to read a sentence made of birds and feet. He sets off for a museum and finds a sleeping stone king instead, then goes looking for a bus station and stumbles straight onto the Great Pyramid.
