Publisher Description
Garrett Emerson built his empire by embracing risk and controlling every variable. As CEO of Emerson Industries, danger is something he calculates, not indulges. But when a trusted associate is murdered, Garrett makes an uncharacteristic decision that could cost him everything: he brings an outside consultant into the heart of his world.
Selby Reynolds is a highly sought-after cybersecurity specialist hired to uncover what went wrong inside Emerson Industries. From the moment she steps into Garrett's orbit, she senses that his carefully controlled life hides dangerous secrets. Drawn to his intensity but wary of his power, Selby knows getting close to him could shatter more than her career.
As Selby uncovers evidence pointing to a killer within Garrett's elite circle, the stakes turn deadly. With her life on the line and trust in short supply, Garrett and Selby must navigate betrayal, desire, and a threat that refuses to stay in the shadows.
Because some risks are worth taking.
And some come with a price no one expects.
Carnal Risk is a high-stakes romantic suspense novel filled with danger, desire, and a love tested by trust.
