I absolutely love this series. I just re-read the first 3 books in anticipating the release of checkmate that I pre-ordered, which was suppose to release on 2-14-22. I am so sad, since it did not release and there is no explanation. Please let us know what’s going on. Thank you
Disappointed 😔
This book was 9 months late with four different release dates along the way and no proper status updates from the author. I can honestly say I was extremely underwhelmed by book 3 plot. I felt like Ms. Ann was rambling through much of the book. I was tempted to skip ahead just to get somewhere. At this point I expected to see characters evolve and fall in love with them all over again. However, I felt cheated with the storyline that ends in a book 4! Ms. Ann, perhaps you need to concentrate on writing fewer books at the same time so you can devote more time to developing your characters and keeping your readers from getting frustrated with you.
