It took until half way through the book before I could like the main character again. I had a hard time staying focused on the words. Often I’d find my mind wondering and I’d have to reread what I’d just read. Maybe it was because I had such high expectations for a character that a really like that I feel let down. Maybe it’s the $10.99 I paid for the book that I thought it would be so much…more…better. The protagonist finally redeemed himself and I like the way his relationship worked out. But…I regret paying so much money for the book when I paid half the amount for Foster’s previous books that I feel are so much better.
