When trendy young artist Casey Reilly sneaks into Chicago’s most exclusive BDSM club under a fake name, she soon finds herself lying naked over the lap of handsome billionaire Jax Hunter as he gives her the first spanking of her life. Hunter’s dominance excites Casey more than anything ever has before, but after discovering her deception he has difficulty forgiving her, even after she accepts a thorough, humiliating punishment.
Hunter’s cold response to the truth about her identity leaves Casey dejected, but Max Abbott—one of the most respected doms at the club—quickly sets about mending her broken heart. Max mixes firm-handed discipline with gentle reassurance in way that she finds deeply comforting, and his masterful lovemaking brings her pleasure beyond her wildest dreams, but when Hunter tries to win her back will Casey be ready to make the most important choice of her life?

A BDSM story that sizzles
Casey, Hunter, and Max sizzle right off the page. Casey had always dreamed of getting a taste of BDSM, and when she stumbles across a chance to enter an exclusive club, she jumps on it. The catch: She has to impersonate another woman to do it. At the elegant and tasteful club (despite some of the naughty goings-on), she meets the gorgeous dom, Hunter. But what will he do when he discovers she lied her way into his domain? My first thought after reading the blurb was to wonder why Hunter would be so angry that he can’t forgive her. But almost immediately the author supplies that answer, showing Casey—and the reader—the extremes to which Hunter values honesty and trust. So of course, his anger makes total sense. And her duplicity ratchets up the emotional tension while the steamy spankings ratchet up the sexual tension. What I especially loved, what made this story stand out from other BDSM novels, was the use of art, master works, and how the emotions about artwork tied in with Casey’s feelings, with her goals. Very beautifully done, turning this story into a stand-out work of art itself. And the ending made it an absolute masterpiece!
