Fantastic resource!
This book by Dr. Davidson is an excellent resource for anyone who is considering cataract surgery. The text is straightforward and easy to understand. The videos nicely show what happens during the surgical procedure and the pictures illustrate what the different outcomes might be after the procedure. What is particularly helpful is how Dr. Davidson lays out what the different surgical options are and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Reading this book before visiting the surgeon will be a tremendous help and will enable you to get the most out of your visit.
A must read for all cataract patients
I am impressed with the detail and animation in this book by Dr Davidson and Mr Vermilye. In my opinion, it is a valuable reference for patients who want to learn more about their choices prior to cataract surgery. The animations are very helpful and complex topics are handled in such a way to make them understandable to readers of all backgrounds.
