Loved this Retelling of Mark and Lana’s story… it’s even better and you really want to slap someone a few times too (the reason for the danger). Mark and Lana have this great will they won’t they attraction that is super cute and gets them all fired up when they decide to go for it!

Mark and Lana
I had never read this book before and I have read the authors later books but not her earlier ones. This book stars Lana and Mark who are connected to the earlier Sidewinder books and characters. In addition, we get to meet Aaron who will have a later book in the Alaska hockey series.
In this story Mark is former military and he met Lana a few years before, but she has refused all interest Mark has shown her. That is until they get grounded together while both fly to Alaska on business.
In Alaska Mark gets the chance to get to know Lana better when they end up working for hockey player Aaron who has a pretty awful ex. This helps Mark try and get Lana to give him a shot and get to know him.
I loved Mark and how much he wants Lana as she tries hard to resist him. I also loved Lana and how strong a woman she is. She is no pushover and I loved watching her fall just as hard for Mark.
