Stranded in despair, Shiloh Blomstedt wanders his late twenties desperate for stability. Silently, he attempts to balance trivial romance with a failing family. Shiloh's source of escape becomes a singing waitress, Charlie Rechner. Not immune to tragedy herself, Charlie searches to fulfill her heart with anything promising. As the two discover each other, shady pasts threaten to destroy the growing relationship. Tucked away in Kemah, Texas Shiloh and Charlie ultimately thrust insecurities and hopes on each other, eager to soothe their struggles. As the new trust grows, Shiloh and Charlie must learn to overcome previous disappointments in order to progress.
