Cause and Effect (When Push Comes To Shove) is a book made up of two parts. The first half tells the positive story of a young man who, after suffering years of bullying and victimization, finally learns to stand up for himself and turn his life around so he can at long last become the success everyone always expected him to be.
Whereas, the second half of the book is a much darker story that explores the same young man's addiction to violence and the victimization of others as he discovers the positive, some might even say beneficial, therapeutic effects to be gained from physically hurting others.
