The Leighton Buzzard British School was founded in 1813 in the Bedfordshire market town of Leighton Buzzard. The school was later expanded and became known as Beaudesert school. In 1913 the centenary of the school was celebrated and a small booklet published retelling some of the history of the school and biographies of some of the people who had been associated with it etc.
