Chamomile and Chaos
Chamomile and Chaos is Book 6 of Heywood Herbalist Cozy Mysteries written by Carly Winter. This series is so fun! I have enjoyed every one and fly through them! The characters are engaging, funny and relatable. Another hit from Carly Winter! The Heywood Herbalist has become a favorite cozy series for me and every book, so far has been better than the one previously! The cast of characters are perfect for a cozy mystery series and I love the sleepy town of Heywood as the setting.

So many suspects…so little time.
Loved this book! Every book in this series has been like a visit to your quirky hometown.
It all comes to a head in this story: Sam is accused of Dr. Butte’s murder, her store is on the verge of closing and all of her assets have been frozen.
Jordan is being looked at too so Sam and Jordan work together - with a little help from their friends.
There is so much to like about this book. Sam is a good person who gets caught up in the town's murder. She uses her brain, gets help from her boyfriend (yes, it’s finally official!) and support from her friends. With each new story, we get to meet more of the curious characters of the town.
The end of this story teases a possible new series centering on Sam’s friend Gina (maybe with Deputy Trevor?). I do hope Jordan and Sam return…maybe opening a private detective agency named Somebody’s Watching You..

Sam’s in trouble now!
Sam is in deep trouble in this latest installment. When her sort of nemesis Dr. Butte is poisoned shortly after he and Sam had a second public disagreement the lazy sheriff has decided she’s guilty and goes about trying to find the proof that fits her theory. Unfortunately for Sam this being a small town she’s now a pariah as everyone is talking about her guilt. Her store is empty, her income is gone and her boyfriend Jordan is suspended because he is guilty by association. If Sam doesn’t do something and quick the doctor might just win from the beyond and Sam will be out of business and in jail!
These seems like the last book in Sam’s series from the way the ending goes. A turmoil filled mystery that ends with some very good news for Sam. You’ll have to read to get the details. I will say I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series and this is no exception. Whether it’s the final installment or not a very good read!.
