Sophie Matheson, Kade’s homophobic mother, is coming to Portland for a visit. Her timing couldn’t be worse. Not only is Kade newly in love with a woman, but she also promised to help her friends Aiden and Dawn move in together.
Instead of going to art museums and having lunch in an expensive restaurant, Sophie will now help U-Haul a lesbian couple. Kade tries to tell herself it’s going to be a nice change of pace, but she knows better.
Loved the main characters! Kade and Del were well defined in their relationship. Kades Mother’s attitude was spot on as for acceptance of Kades partner choices. The “group Theraphy “ atmosphere described as the move was of major importance to the storyline. Overall the best description of denial by a parent and the way Mrs. Kinson was describing the change of sexual preference was wonderfully impressive. Loved this story. Looking forward to reading more books of yours.
