Channel 8

Channel 1-9, a set of nine books for Classes 1-9, closely follow the English syllabus for schools, and are concerned with language practice work–grammar, composition and vocabulary.

Some of the chief recommendations in the new syllabus are providing plenty of scope for practice, and relating the exercises to real-life contexts in which the pupil will need to use English. This has been closely followed. The exercises provide lively practice with opportunities for oral work. The exercises in each unit are graded from simple to challenging. The guided composition work is further supported by help with language and idiom. All the books are generously illustrated.
