This was a fun story, and a bit frustrating.
Leah and Wade have been friends for a long time, they love each other, but they are both too stubborn or scared or embarassed to say anything.
I loved all of the characters. Got irritated with Leah's friend Betsy for sure. But was glad at how things turned out in the end. Leah and Wade both were stubbornly holding out for the other to admit their feelings first. If it weren't for some pushing by family and friends, with the help of some fabulous hot chocolate from Sage's chocolate shop, they may never have figured things out.
Overall it was a really fun story.
second chance romance
When Leah thinks all hope is lost, Wade keeps trying his all to show her kindness. A misunderstanding stand between them, and they must each open their hearts and minds to find a second chance at love.
Funny! and a Bit off Kilter!
Leah and Wade story was a bit off center, but came because of a misunderstanding. Leah and Wade where friends forever and cause of a misunderstanding Leah goes running for sunny California. Now she has returned because of another misunderstanding between Wade and her... but he didn't hear her as he couldn't get past the picture she painted while on the phone. Some points of the story are quiet funny, while others are serious. I really enjoyed her nickname of Lonely Leah and how Wade had such patience for her.. Sometimes being true to your heart is very hard!
