Hudson is tasked with retrieving Tabitha and ensuring she is at the church in six days to marry his boss, the most odious and probably syphilitic, viscount. Tabitha is an ever dutiful daughter (way too dutiful) and her father is dying and his last wish is that she marry his contemporary (meaning old) friend.
Tabitha flees and bargains for six days where Hudson will be her fake husband.
Hudson is dreamy. He longs for Tabitha, he yearns for her, but will do his job and deliver her to his heinous boss. Tabitha is a lady and Hudson a man of business. They have great chemistry and fun, despite their different social status. I wish Tabitha wasn’t quite so dutiful. But Hudson was the best.

A Love Match
Tabitha wants a love match. However, she is betrothed, and has been since before she was born, to a vile man who is after her dowry. Worse, it is her father’s dying wish that she marry the odious man. Hudson has been in love with Tabitha since the moment he first saw her. The problem? He is her betrothed’s man of business. When they first visit Marrywell, the two of them have a great time, at least until the Viscount shows up. What will happen if she runs away from her wedding? A beautiful romance. Tabitha and Hudson are so good together. Their romance starts sweet and turns steamy. What happens when they return to London? Something totally unexpected and absolutely awesome. An enjoyable story and a great addition to the series.

Tabitha is promised to one man but is in love with another. She’s so determined to make her Dad proud of her that she struggles to do what she wants. In the end the love, respect and understanding that Hudson show’s her wins out! Great love story.
