PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Inspired by the picturesque grapevines of Tuscany, evangelical speaker and bible study leader Moore (So Long, Insecurity) takes readers on a smart, engaging metaphorical exploration of the connection between Christianity and viticulture. Plentiful biblical references ground her study, such as Eden in Genesis and the importance of wine in Revelation, to create an analogy largely based around patience, maturity, and trust for God's work in each person's life. Moore finds faith parallels and human qualities in vines and grapes, suggesting, for instance, that grapes have a distrust of their vinedressers with regard to when and where they are planted and pruned, and why: "If you're in Christ, He is your true Vine, whether you realize it or not. But a whole new way of flourishing begins when you know it. When you count on it. When you live like it." She laces her analysis with many personal stories and reiterates the idea of God's grace and forgiveness with gusto. Her detailed explanations of vineyards and how they work creates a fitting metaphor for her idea of how each Christian must cultivate their life knowing God has a lager plan to bear "good fruit" despite struggle. Moore's fans and Christians looking for enthusiastic inspiration will love this.

“Chasing Vines"
A very good book! The author expresses in-depth with the truth of being God as the Vinedresser to be our pruning to spread our faith to rejoice and be thankful for God’s goodness and blessings. He abides in us as we abide in Him, for multiplying and becoming fruitful through His tenderness and flexibility to keep us growing and shrinking to bear good fruits that are being cut off and help us to trust Him through different phases of to see if we have the annoyance with Him or in our self-doubts and make a valley of decisions from our testimonies with Jesus Christ. This book taught me something about my pruning of my life. There is a strong informatin on how much God’s love really is and how we are to chase vines. Moving out to the Lord is my constant lifetime. I am chasing God’s vine to re-plant the opportunity to grow into spreading His Word all over the world and see how far He will carry me through the oppression of my faith.

I learned how much God really does lovingly tend to every tiny detail.
If you’re hurting and wondering if God sees you, this book will help. It changed me. In my head I knew God cared about me and saw me, but it wasn’t something that resounded deep in my soul. With vivid imagery and a touch of humor, Beth makes this truth come alive.
There are so many heart changing truths to glean in this book. The biggest one for me is I matter. Every part of me matters. Everything I have been through matters. A vintner isn’t just concerned with the end product of wine. He knows every part of every grape that goes into it matters. He nurtures it. Jesus does the same for me. He is madly in love with me and with you. This book has changed me & its lessons will continue to change me as I walk each day knowing He sees me and every part of me and my story matters in the best possible, shame free way.
