Highly recommend even if not married
I'm not married. Actually I was a year and a half out of divorce when I read this book. But I heard an interview on the radio and thought it sounded interesting. Like most divorced people I didn't see me getting married again... EVER. But just in case I figured I could learn a thing or two for the next one. In my opinion this book helps in every relationship you have. As I read it, In different chapter I would find myself thinking about my relationship with my ex, my teenage daughter, certain friends or even coworkers. I have recommended the book to so many people. I believe it could save sour marriages and strengthen sweet marriages. The ideas in it are so simple and make sense. There were several Ah Ha! Moments for me.
I have never been a person to read a book twice. But I am about to read it again. I feel like I need a refresher on how to cherish.
