A Great Book.
Very real and honest telling of the story of the Vietnam War, as viewed by a US Army helicopter pilot. This book, and its sequel, are tremendous prep for Masons wife’s book.
We all owe Robert and his Army colleagues a huge debt for what they did in Vietnam, for their bravery, and for all the battles they continue to fight all these years later.
Awesome
I took a Vietnam literature course and got into reading more about the Vietnam war. My dad served in Vietnam and I dated a girl who's dad was a cobra pilot in Vietnam. At any rate there are some great accounts of helicopter missions and what actually went on over there. It's a great book and worth the read.
