After natural and man-made catastrophes, locally or abroad, we see resources flow into hurting areas; and we pray that God will heal those to whom the help goes. Usually, after we give our time or money, we don’t see the results of our efforts. That’s too bad, because sometimes we could learn better ways to give if we could see the results. The examples in this book can help you understand the hits and misses of the good intentions of those who give without having a real understanding of the need.
