Chicot the Jester

With these parallel plotlines, Dumas offer up plenty of cliffhangers, political skullduggery, and secret assignations.

"Chicot the Jester" is a great read for fans of courtly intrigue, such as Netlix's "The Crown" or Hilary Mantel's "Wolf Hall" trilogy.
