Mrs. Nibarger’s 7th grade honors history class created this sketched book on 5 dynasties of China. After receiving question prompts from their teacher, they used a drawing app on their iPads to create a sketchnote of that concept. The dynasties are separated into the following categories: history, political, social, economics and religion. Following are 5 extra achievements of China.

Sketchnoting in the classroom!
This book, the result of a planned collaboration between a technology integration specialist and a 7th grade world history teacher, is a wonderful example of the creativity of the students! Based on what I see in the sketchnotes, they worked in small teams, conducted the research, and then came up with the best way to showcase their new knowledge. Great work by this class of true sketchnoters!
