Delightful feel-good romance!
Hannah and Louis met in high school. They never seemed to get along, always fighting. When Louis moves back to Sweetheart Creek, he’s determined that this feud between them will finally end.
Louis Bellmore, a polymath/Renaissance man, has returned to Texas to coach the San Antonio Dragons hockey team. He decides to return to Sweetheart Creek, his home when he was in high school. He buys a house that just happens to be next door to Hannah Murphy.
Hannah’s recently divorced from her high school sweetheart Calvin. She’s a single mom to two young boys, working in daycare and teaching music to help make ends meet. She does everything she can to ignore Louis, but he repeatedly comes to her, and her sons’, rescue.
This is an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers story. It’s very much a love-hate relationship that started in high school. It’s a delightful read, and, so far, my favorite in the series. I especially loved Louis, he reminded me of a young Bruce Willis in Moonlighting, all confident and cocky, but with a heart of gold.
I highly recommend this book. As with the others in the series, it’s a feel-good read that will leave you smiling.

Clean, heartwarming, second chance romance
Chocolate Cherry Cabin is a clean, heartwarming, second chance romance for Hannah and Lewis. This is such a sweet romance that I almost forgot to sleep last night. I loved all the things Louis did to try to make Hannah see she was worth having her own dreams - even when they backfired! This was not an “easy” romance for Louis. Hannah was fighting him almost the entire way. But I love this hockey team, this small town and the people who live here. I just get lost in these stories!
Sigh… where can I find my “Louis”?
Chocolate Cherry Cabin written by Jean Oram. We are slowly making our way through a hockey team and pairing them up for a lifetime of bliss with a wonderful woman from town. Louis is Hannah’s childhood nemesis and her adult neighbor. Hannah is Louis’s childhood crush and the one that got away. Can they put the past behind them and move into something new? You will love watching Hannah explode into an independent woman under the warm gaze of Louis! It’s definitely a book to be read over and over again!
