Wah wah wah.
The plot is kinda milk-toast & schmaltzy. It’s lacking the flow of a really good book. The amount of punctuation errors is insane & it’s so often that there’s no ignoring it. It seems like on every page there’s you an unnecessary question mark. One of my biggest complaints is the way the characters speak to each other isn’t organic, it doesn’t sound natural. The lack of contractions in their speech make it sound like the characters are robots.
Currently trying to read the first book in the series & it’s gonna be a DNF because it’s riddled with the same issues 🥴
