Chosen Stone

Two guys adopt a small poodle from the Montreal SPCA and all three take off to Vermont for a hiking trip. Just before the trip, one of the guys brings the Rufus the poodle to the top of Mt Royal where something makes him paw the ground revealing a black stone. This stone opens a communication channel between Rufus, his two new dads and a secret canine media network. They get turned back at the USA border because one of the guys had worked in Saudi Arabia. This triggers a series of adventures that mashes up certain Islamic issues, Middle Eastern missile systems, global societies that lurk in the shadows and a revelation of what is the origin and purpose of the piece of black stone that Rufus uncovered.
