Chrissie's Run

Chrissie is a 16-year-old girl living in the futuristic New Republic, where there is mandatory abortion for any baby with birth defects. She chooses to defy the law and run with her unborn baby, Daniel, to Haven, where runners have sought safety for decades. A gift runs strong in Chrissie's family and Daniel is special. He is Daniel in the Lion's Den and through him, the Voice speaks. He is the greatest threat that the New Republic has ever known. Chrissie runs, and the New Republic sends Stingray in pursuit, a deadly Closer who will stop at nothing to kill her, and her baby.
