Christ The Healer

It was night
The garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus was deceived. It was here he was left to the government, it was here he was betrayed with a kiss. It was here he was separated from the disciples - It was here he could call on more than twelve legions of angels - It was here he began the last steps to complete the Father’s will. It was here in the garden of Gethsemane where he took a step over the Kedron stream, a step for humanity.
-For the scriptures to be fulfilled - To do the will of the Father.

It is written
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed.

Like lost sheep, mankind has gone astray. Everyone has turned to his ways. And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Matthew 27:26
Then he released Barabbas to them; And when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

When they beat him with the whip, it was like a cat that grabbed from behind with his claws. The real torture was when they pulled the whip back; Then, He was torn into pieces of the whip.
On the whip, they called the cat, it was nine tails with small pieces of iron, bone, and glass attached. For an ordinary mortal human body, the treatment of this terrible torture tool alone could cause death.

Strokes after strokes with the whip led to; By his wounds, we have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
And they led him to Calvary, nailed Him to the cross for us sinners.

During the crucifixion, He said; Forgive them, Father, for they do not know what they are doing.

One of the criminals hanging there also mocked him and said, aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us! ‘But the other rebuked him, saying,’ do you not fear God, even if you have the same judgment over you?
For us, judgment is fair, we get back for what we’ve done. But He hasn’t done anything wrong. Then he said, Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!
