Christmas at the Castle
Enjoyed this love story with all its ups and downs!
Almost a Hallmark special
I loved reading a good story with a great plot. Some romance but a lot of excitement and funny stories. Loved ever chapter.
Not a bad read, but it lacks something.
This is definitely one of those cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies turned into a book. The book is extremely PG 13 in the sense that even the villins are not that bad. I did not like the Prince initially. He seemed condescending and dddly enough not royal enough. I also found it weird that hte Prince and his sister went all the way to the US for some summer camp or something. Nobody knew they were royalty. In this camp is wehre Sophie and Gill meet Kat. Apparently Sophie and Kat become good friends and they video chat for many years. They are best friends. Kat is invited to Sophie’s royal wedding where she is not well liked by the Queen and Gill because she could be a gold digger, even though Kat is a Dr. She seems more accomplished than the Queen and Prince. Even though Kat minds her business and only wants to be a good bridesmaid the Queen and Gill still don’t trust her. It’s not until another man seems interested in her that Gill wants her too. Some of the arguments seem petty and even the Queen engaged in some juvenile interactions, like dropping punch on Kat’s dress on purpose…. I mean this is the royalty? Sophie was in a reality TV and that is where she met her fiancé. When does royalty go on a reality tv show? It just all seemed so farfetched.
