When they were younger, Kathleen and Roy were best friends. Then, Lois moved to town and joined the two friends. Kathleen and Lois were best friends, but then Lois got together with Roy and Kathleen ended their friendship. Now, her daughter, Nicole, is married to his son, Jason. They have a medical practice and are chosen to go provide aid in Italy after an earthquake. They need Roy and her to care for their two ten year old daughters while they are gone.
