Entertaining Cinema History
This book is an important and entertaining document that is both available and recommended to anyone interested in a unique view of the past. The posters and ads for the military films in this book, like the movies themselves, are unusual, historic and forgotten.
War films had less rerelease potential than old movies. After the war they were shelved and ignored. I am impressed at the list of films and the amount of information the book's author has unearthed about them. This is an in depth look at an important timeframe in Hollywood filmmaking. Glad to see someone has not forgotten these films!
Great read & art work!
I highly recommend. The author really knows his subject matter. This was very interesting and entertaining. If you like reading about Hollywood and film history you will enjoy this book. Contains a great collection of film posters and PR. What a find!
