For Emily Ford, being awakened in the dead of night by what seemed to be the very shadows in her bedroom come to life is the least of her worries as she is spirited away to become the new wife of an elven king for the purpose of bearing his heirs. Entranced despite herself by his ethereal beauty, Emily surrenders willingly to his seduction and is introduced to a new world of sensual pleasures she had not thought possible outside of a dream.

But can a human ever really win the heart of an elf or have a place within the elven court? Especially when the biggest obstacle to both is her new husband's barren and resentful queen who has no qualms about wanting Emily gone and is prepared to do the unspeakable to make it happen and the whispers of anti-human sentiments within the elven court, itself?

Loved it, but this isn’t the full book

I got this book for free, and when I did, I had no idea it was only Chapters 1-5 that I was getting. That being said, I have now ordered the entire series after reading those five chapters because I was hooked just that fast. I have become invested in the characters, as well as the storyline. It is all so very fascinating, as well as very different from other Elve/Fae books I have read before this series. I definitely suggest the investment. It’s worth it, and I can’t wait to dive completely in to the series!!!

Happy Reading!!!

Wow!

I have never read a book that completely sucked me in so much that it felt like I was in the book my self having sex with Sethain. Although, it really doesn't tell you much about what happened the night before or anything. I think this book if for people that really hates the beginning of books because it's very boring. This definitely goes right in to the story in the first sentence
