Grumpy Mountain with a Soft Spot
From grumpy mountain man to loving uncle, Hale is a gentle giant until it comes to loving Ivy and making sure she’s taken care of. Ivy is the sweet young woman who is looking to find where she belongs in life, especially considering her younger years and battle with an illness that made her feel unwanted. Guaranteed HEA even after a bit of a miscommunication.
I always enjoy Mia Brody’s writing and couldn’t stop reading until the very end. Another great story!.

Hale and Ivy
A mutual longing but neither have come forward. Liked the storyline of being there for family and stepping up to take over when needed. Liked the aspect of explaining living with a disease does not hinder you, but makes you stronger.
