Class Clown

Jayden Cole is the funniest person at Alder Creek High, and that is the problem. The jokes that made every room survivable have started to cost him: there are things his body does in loud hallways that 'energy' does not explain, and a drawer full of easy words for an anxiety he has never said out loud to anyone. Across one January, at the corner booth in Mabel's Diner, Jayden's five friends learn to sit with him instead of just laughing along, and Jayden faces the hardest sentence he has ever had to say — 'I'm not okay' — and stays seated to hear what comes back. Class Clown is a Christian young adult novel about anxiety, friendship, and learning to accept help — prayer, trusted adults, and a counselor together — without shame, rooted in Philippians 4:6–7. It is Book Five of The Corner Booth series.
