Disappointing

I was so excited to buy this title. Who doesn't want to add German baking to their repertoire? I'm a fairly competent home baker and have now tried 4-5 of the recipes in this book. I live overseas and have access to all the European products referenced. Not one of those recipes has worked out. I can't tell you how frustrated it's made me. I'm starting to doubt whether or not the author tried these recipes before publishing.

I'd recommend using www.rezeptschachtel.de and using google translate for proven recipes that work.
