Classical Catastrophe

At first, Maria and Mateo are thrilled when they learn their next school trip will be to the orchestra. But when Mateo’s parents play classical music for them, the cousins feel both sleepy and bored. They struggle to keep an open mind about the orchestra. But if they can succeed, they just might be surprised by how fun the orchestra can be.

Cousins Maria and Mateo are two curious second graders who love experiencing new things, and their school’s field trips are the perfect opportunities to do just that. Join these high-spirited cousins as they learn more about themselves and the world around them through field trips to a zoo, a natural history museum, an orchestra, and a flower farm.
