Magilla Gorilla and The Friendly Ghost
This newest book was a surprise for me. When I first met Casper and Spider, I was not their biggest fans. I didn’t think I would ever really like them in the series. This book proved me wrong.
Our past shapes us and how everyone views who we are and how we react. These two characters are proof of that and how that perception can change. This was a needed story that helped move everyone into the new Unstoppables that are coming our way.
It was a pleasure to spend time with Calla and Corbin as they show us who they really are and who they can be to each other.
Have a Merry Christmas with Spider and Casper
This short book gathers are various friends from K19 Security, K19 Shadows, Invincible’s, as well as the makings of the new team the Unstoppable’s. Heather has created a story that takes away from all the bad things that had been associated with finally getting the Andirondak State Park Serial Killer. If you haven’t read it well worth the read to find the ending as well as getting some more introduction of the main characters in this book. Casper and Spider have a history from the last mission however neither one are ready to celebrate the holidays. Casper because of the loss of her husband, Beau, and Spider because of general family issues. However the scheduled Christmas Party has been made mandatory for all even contractors. The feelings between these two are being fought and it takes a lot for them to finally realize and accept their feelings for each other. They are also both being offered partnerships into some of the organizations that fall under the umbrella of the original K19 organization. Which one will they choose, will they finally understand their relationship? Heather has given us a Christmas story that not only has all the feel good things, but also some of the problems and concerns that people have with family and friends. She has resolved many issues that many of us also face during the holiday season. It has been done with a great understanding of how different people react to different scenarios. Enjoy this book and yes you get to find out who they choose and why. But I’m not telling.
