Publisher Description
I joined the team at Jameson Force Security three months ago and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Leaving behind the Marine Corps together, my dog Omega and I made the cross-country trek to Pittsburgh for an exciting new career. Now I get to spend my days doing dangerous missions with my team and Omega gets to spend his days relaxing, unless there are explosives to be sniffed, and then he’s all paws on deck.
When Omega—who I affectionately refer to as Bubba—snacks on something he most definitely shouldn’t have, an emergency trip to the vet introduces me to Abigail Blackburn. She’s a little quirky, a lot smart, and completely captivating. She also has a penchant for trouble and when Abby makes it her own personal mission to expose the puppy mill industry, she finds herself mixed up with unsavory characters who aren’t happy with her efforts to cut into their profits.
This seedy underbelly is a dangerous place, particularly for a well-intentioned, yet somewhat naïve, small-town vet. What began as peaceful protests outside of local pet stores has escalated into something that threatens Abby’s safety, and I refuse to sit by and watch her get hurt. Somehow this raven-haired beauty has gotten under my skin, and I don’t hesitate to call in my teammates at Jameson to help keep her safe.
Now I find myself trying to balance my need to protect Abby while helping her successfully complete her mission, but also redirecting her focus long enough to show her that I’ve completely fallen for her. One thing is certain—this is going to be my toughest assignment yet.

Enjoyable Read
If I’m being honest, I wasn’t sure about Omega. Some of the books in this series have fallen short for me and I was worried this one would also.
While it is not high in drama, there were some moments that got my heart beating a little faster, along with a story that flows, likable characters and sexy scenes Omega is an enjoyable story.
So sad this series is ending but can’t wait for what’s next!
So sad this series is ending but can’t wait for what’s next! I have loved this new type of series that doesn’t involve hockey from Sawyer, and especially being from Pittsburgh I have loved this even more! This final installment focuses on Kellan, a recent addition to the Jameson team, and how his love for his dog takes him to finding his HEA. When his dog seems ill, Kellan rushes him to the vet, only to find out his usual vet is unavailable, and he meets Abby, the other vet in the practice, and sparks instantly fly. The next day when Kellan picks his dog up from Abby, he finds her being bullied by a local bad guy, and although he finds out Abby is “technically” in the wrong, he protects her and thus starts their friendship and move into something more. Abby has many secrets of her own, from her passion of saving animals to her true identity and past life, and what I find interesting is that although she trusts Kellan, she has a hard time giving him the information or the whole truth until it comes out on its own. And when Kellan thinks he’s finally handled things for Abby, it turns out to not be the case and the Jameson team steps in to save the day because they have their own’s backs, even with Kellan being so new. This was the perfect ending to this series and I’m excited to see if Sawyer gives us another series similar soon!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Abby, Kellen, and Omega
Code Name: Omega is the 10th and last novel in the Jameson Force series! While each novel in the series can be read as a standalone, I’ve truly enjoyed reading them from the beginning. While I’m sad to see the series end, I can definitely say there is NOT a bad novel in the entire series! Kellan and Abby meet when Kellen arrives to the area veterinarian’s office. He’s expecting to see Omega “Bubba’s” regular veterinarian, but meets a gorgeous Abby instead. Abby is currently filling in for the resident vet while she’s on vacation, but also has dreams of buying the clinic once the vet retires. Kellen and Omega are both retired Marine Corps. Omega worked as a munitions sniffer and Kellen was his handler. When they retired, Kellen was fortunate enough to adopt Omega. In retaliation for Kellen spending a week out of town, Omega swallows his stuffed animal causing a blockage. Abby identifies the issue and cares for him overnight. Upon returning the next morning to check on Omega, Kellen walks in on a gentleman threatening Abby. His Alpha protective mode sets in and he jumps to protect Abby. They have instant chemistry, but also genuinely enjoy being with each other. Even when Kellen finds out Abby is “stealing” dogs from a puppy mill and has a protective order against her, he still vows to do everything in his power to protect her—because she’s worth it. This book has ALL the feels! Sawyer Bennett nails it!!! The alpha, overprotective hero who will do anything and everything for the people, animals he cares about. I love that Abby was strong willed, kind, protective of the animals she loves (especially Princess & Bubba), and non-clingy. She and Kellen were so amazing together, a great team with amazing chemistry. I highly recommend this novel and the entire series! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
