Better than the original!
Improves upon the original with more visual guides and examples. Would recommended using for personal study before guiding one’s children through CCC for Kids. Would especially recommend this version for Young Adults.
Evidence is Golden
Personally I have all of J. Warner Wallace’s books. How he uses his years of being a cold case detective to make a case for Christianity is so helpful. He really explains what evidence is and how to evaluate it correctly. I love his illustrations and charts. I took one of his online classes and he is great teacher—clear, precise and entertaining at the same time.
Applying Forensics to Apologetics
I have studied apologetics in the past and I have even preached on apologetics, but J. Warner Wallace’s approach to defending the faith was refreshing to me and makes perfect sense. His coverage of the subject is more comprehensive than I had seen. From his experience as a cold case detective, the author outlines 10 principles for investigating the case for Christianity. These 10 principles have foundation in criminal investigations, but are fully suitable for apologetics. In the end, the author has not only made a rational case for the historicy of the New Testament and the truth of the resurrection of Jesus, but he has also given the reader confidence that he or she can become prepared to be a case maker.
