Lee McIntyre wants roughstock to build a name in the rodeo world, but he needs to find someone to help fund the livestock. The loan officer at the local bank has a daughter who has stock but needs a place to put them.

Jocelyn "Josie" Palmer has worked hard to make a name for herself in the rodeo world with her bucking bulls. But damned if her lousy husband didn't have an accident, leaving her with a child and a ranch that was mortgaged for more than it was worth.
