PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Fin Canty is a scientist working with the Large Hadron Collider and taking care of his daughter, Eva, who recently lost her mother. When Fin is killed and winds up in heaven, he learns the truth about the world's biggest scientific mysteries. But when Eva is subsequently killed and sent to hell Fin resolves to leave heaven and rescue his daughter. In so doing, Fin is walking into a dark conspiracy that aims to use his love of Eva and the Hadron Collider to provide irrefutable proof of life after death. Hejmanowski's convoluted novel succeeds in some ways at tackling large ideas, but tension between the pious and the scientific is nothing new. Additionally, the plot structure is shaky at best and the internal logic of the afterlife scant. Still, the book has its thrilling moments and plenty of twists to interest readers.

Exciting first novel. Couldn't put it down. Would make an extraordinary movie. Can't wait until second novel comes out.
