From New York Times Bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new standalone book in her Everyday Heroes world. Just how hot will firefighter Grady Malone turn up the heat?
Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned.
By her boyfriend she found in her bed . . . with someone else.
By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete.
By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low.
When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still . . . a rebound has never looked so good.
That’s her first thought when she sees firefighter Grady Malone. Sexy. Charismatic. Unapologetic. He’s a man who carries his own scars—the ones on his back, the survivor’s guilt on his soul, and the fear in his heart.
When an unexpected visitor puts their roommate status to the test, will their undeniable attraction burn out, or will they both take a chance and play with fire?
Grady will make you swoon !!!
I could not wait to get Combust in my hands.
Once again Kristy takes you on a journey and gives you ALL THE FEELS !!! I loved Dylan and Grady's story!! It was everything I wanted and more . Did I mention HOT?? Let me tell you I needed a Fire Hose a few times !!
Combust is books 2 on The Everyday Heros series they are standalones
Ahhhh! This one packed all the feels! I fell head over heels for Grady Malone-SWOON! This story was beautiful, feely and so swoony!
A phenomenal read!!
This book was everything!!! It had me cracking up at some parts, and sobbing in others. K. Bromberg has a way of putting you right in the story, making you feel the triumphs and heartbreak each character feels in this book.
Both Dylan and Grady have demons they are trying to overcome, and with each other they begin to do that. Dylan didn’t start off as a heroine I would normally like. She was just a little too insecure for me, but over time she grew on me. Grady is one of my favorite heroes. He’s got this vulnerable side that makes you want to just cuddle him, but keeps it pretty locked up, so only those closest to him truly know his pain. Seeing these two start to heal and find their happily ever after was a fun ride, and I can’t wait to get the next story in this series.
This is definitely a must read!!!
