Though not even a teen yet, Max’s life has already proven turbulent. Her sister Molly, friend Jaime and the ship they now call home are all she has left. When yet another disaster befalls them though, even these are scattered.
With her ship crashed and non-functioning and the escape pod the others were in missing, Max is left alone to deal with new surroundings, past traumas, and present troubles on the world where she’s marooned.
Strange, foreboding occurrences plague her as she tries to blend in amongst the locals. She’s drawn into a mystery of vandalism, kidnapping, and even murder. And, all the while, desperation spurs her on to discover the fates of the only family she has left.
