At first Naomi tries to stay away from him and when they do rekindle their relationship, it soon becomes apparent that not everyone is as forgiving of past crimes as she is. Both their lives and Gracie's could be in jeopardy. Richardson beautifully illustrates the rocky road of love and the power of redemption in this emotionally charged tale. With a tight, compelling plot and expert characterization, she creates a warm, comfortable world readers will want to visit again and again.

Second chance
Comeback Cowboy is the second in Sara Richardson’s Rocky Mountain Riders series; in it, she explores the idea that one decision made for all the right reasons has long lasting consequences. When Lucas Cortez agrees to go to jail for a fire his younger brother set, he knew he would lose everything. He just didn’t know how hard it was going to be to get it all back. When he comes back to Topaz Falls and his high school sweetheart Naomi, he learns really how hard it can be. Lucas and Naomi don’t have things easy, but Richardson ties it all together well and the story flows quickly. More on the sweet side, this novel is a much read for rodeo fans, and those who love a second chance.
