Daniel Kirkwood has written several books on Astronomy this volume looks at cometary astronomy; aerolites, with the phenomena attending their fall; the most brilliant star-showers of all ages; and the origin of comets, aerolites, and falling stars. This book was published in 1873 therefore reflects the knowledge of that time.
