A man with the world at his feet and he stole a kiss from me. It should have ended there. It didn't...
"Prince Charming grew up and got a riding crop. Dark, sensual, and alpha..." - Laurelin Paige, New York Times bestselling author
Alexander swept into my life with a stolen kiss and turned my world into chaos.
It should have ended there, since I had no idea who he was.
Except that kiss was caught by someone's camera, and now the picture is splashed on tabloids all over the world. Everyone wants to know about the woman photographed with the future King of England: me.
But Alexander is nothing like I expected. He's controlling. He's demanding. He's dangerous. He warns me to stay away—that the press and his family will destroy me. That he doesn't want more than my body.
I know this can only end one way, so why does it feel like we're falling in love?
Steamy love scenes! Story was hard to follow at times. Characters you can’t help but love.
Not worth it
The main girl Clara is so stupid. He was in a car accident and she wonders why he doesn’t like driving, he went through something traumatic and doesn’t like having his torso touched and she sits there and makes it about her?!? Sex scenes were okay but it was cheesy. I mean I get the whole dark and mysterious thing she tried to have going but it just felt like every other romantic storyline. I liked the descriptive dialogue though. I have a mild distaste for how generic and unexciting the prince was but what REALLY GETS ME GOING is the fact that Clara is rude to her mom, not someone I admire in any way, and that the prince falls for her after kissing her once like all the inhibitions he had just magically disappeared.
This book is captivating!
This book held me, the whole way through. The characters are easy to fall in love with and the life struggles kept me reading all hours of the night. I can’t wait to read what happens next.
