In this sequel to “Heed the Predictor,” Margaret “Meg” Thorne hasn’t had a moment’s peace since Calder, the former “love of her life,” wrote a book about her ability to predict people’s deaths. When the book is made into a blockbuster film, she no longer can bear the relentless media attention, so she changes her name and appearance and moves to a small town back in New Hampshire. There, she finally finds the anonymity she craves and is able to lead a normal life for the first time.

But just when she begins to believe she has everything she’s ever wanted – a quaint cottage, a job in a local gift shop that she truly enjoys, and a new man who treats her with the respect, love and kindness Calder never did – everything begins to fall apart…in unexpected and frightening ways.
