Love at first sight
As much as they make me crazy, I do love me some cliffhangers and plot twists. And boy did Kim Karr deliver those! They're exactly the reason why Connected is such an emotional roller coaster of a read.
There's a lot of romance but a good amount of mystery and suspense as well. Which came as a surprise, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Never did I get bored or turned off by an anticlimactic moment. If I wasn't swooning over River Wilde and his relationship with Dahlia, I was intrigued by her past life with her ex. There was always something interesting happening.
When I can figure out the plot line or big mystery early on in a book, I don't necessarily hate it, but I do get a little bummed out. Though I was able to put two and two together, that didn't seem to deter my fascination with the story and characters.
Kim Karr is a fabulous writer and she does a swell job of drawing the reader in with the simplest words and moments. This book will make you believe in love at first sight.
The characters were well developed and the story just took my breath away.
I would definitely recommend this to all romance readers; especially ones looking for something a little outside the box. You will devour every single word of this spectacular book.
Good but could be better
I found myself skipping through the love scenes not because I dislike sex scenes but they aren't...hot. Some authors are able to sweep you away (and get me riled up) but this author doesn't have that magic. Other than that I enjoyed it.

I fell in love with Dahlia and River. You know your a sucker for a good love story when your reading and you start to cry and everyone around you thinks your crazy because your crying over a book. Thank you for a great story.
