CONSCIOUSNESS

The MSAC Philosophy Group has produced a fully interactive introductory textbook to the latest debates in the study of human consciousness. Based in part upon a visual essay presented at SPIRCON, an international conference held at the Dayalbagh Educational Institute in Agra, India, which explored the connection between science and spirituality, this book argues for a robust neurophilosophical exploration of higher states of awareness with a special focus on the pioneering work of Patricia and Paul Churchland and their understanding of eliminative materialism. This book also touches upon the meditational insights of such Indian sages as Ramana Maharshi and Faqir Chand. This work also contains a number of original films produced by Neuralsurfer which help illuminate the text.
