In book 2 of Conversation with Gramps, the story continues with a shocking turn of events. A marital betrayal accompanied with accusations from a sordid past brings Annie and Neil to the breaking point. When ultimately threatened with the prospect of losing Annie forever, Neil remembers through the voice of Gramps his chance to choose again. But choices have consequences. Ultimately staying together with Annie will require finding a way for the past to stop interfering with the present. In order for that to happen, both Neil and Annie must be willing to accept living with an unwanted reality neither are prepared for.
