A READER REVIEW...

AWESOME !!!

That is the only way I can describe your book, but I have to explain. It was hard to put down. I did not cry all the way through either. There were times the tears welled up, but I did not need the box of Kleenex.

I did not find it depressing either. You were so very lucky to have that precious time.

I do not get books often that hold me like this one. It was very well written. I hope that is a compliment since I'm not a critic. Even though I knew what the end was going to be the suspense was still there. I can't explain it, but it was like the book had a hold on me. I could visualize the house even though I have never been there, including the cow in the yard. I could even visualize your husband leaving for work and just being there. Troy's image changed as he got sicker.

I wish I would have known Troy. It would have been an honor.

To care for a terminally ill person is a commitment and one you never forget. But it does make you reflect on the good times shared.

I can go on and on, but to sum it up.........It is a GREAT book.
I think everyone should read it.
